eTV 2016 Learnerships (Only Matric required)

The country’s only independent free-to-air television station, eTV, is inviting applications for its 2016 Learnerships in Film and Television Production from young unemployed South Africans with a Matric / Grade 12 certificate. The learnerships will run for a period of 12-months where in learners will be trained the production of films and television programme. At the end of this learnership programme, successful learners will be awarded nationally-recognised National Certificates in Film and Television Production at NQF Level 3. The learnerships are conducted by eTV in partnership with its eAcademy and the Media, Information and Communication Technology Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT Seta), and will be based in Gauteng province.

What are the requirements?

  • Have a completed Matric / Grade 12 certificate;
  • Be computer literate;
  • Must have passed a language plus Maths and Science in Grade 12;
  • Be passionate about and interested in Television Production;
  • Be a South African citizen with a green barcoded ID or a Smart ID Card; and
  • Be based in Gauteng or a nearby area (as this learnership will be based in Gauteng).
