Metropolitan Health 2016 JHB Call Centre Learnerships (Only Grade 12 required)

Do you see your self as a people’s person? Can you handle a day’s work full of calls from clients? Are your a South African citizen with a Matric / Grade 12 certificate and are looking for an opportunity to earn while you learn to become a fully qualified call centre consultant? Metropolitan Health is inviting applications from unemployed young South Africans with Grade 12/Matric to apply for their 2016 Call Centre Learnerships which will be based at their offices in Braamfontein, Johannesburg. This learnership programme is open to people with and those without disabilities.

Learners will be paid a monthly learnership allowance for the 12-months duration of the learnership. Training will include classroom lessons and practical on-the-job training, at the successful completion of which learners will be awarded nationally-recognised National Certificates in Call Centre Support (at NQF Level 3).

What are the requirements?

To be considered for the 2016 Momentum Health Call Centre Learnership Programme you have to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be a young (18-35 years old) South African citizen;
  • Must have passed Matric/Grade 12 with English (at least 50%/ Symbol D/ Level 4) and another South African official language (at least 40%/ Symbol E/ Level 3), Mathematics (at least 50%/ Symbol D/ Level 4) OR Mathematical Literacy (at least 70%/ Symbol B/ Level 6);
  • Must be unemployed; be able to commit to the learnership for 12-months; and
  • Be computer literate (particularly in Microsoft Office).
