Are you a young unemployed South African with a Matric (Grade 12) qualification OR an N3 qualification OR are you currently studying towards a packaging or engineering related national diploma or degree? South African Breweries’ (SAB) ABI Pretoria Manufacturing unit in Hercules, Pretoria is currently inviting applications for placement on their one-year long 2016 Packaging Learnerships. The packaging learnerships are targeted at young South Africans with a Matric/Grade 12 qualification with Maths and Science as passed subjects or an N3 engineering qualification or those currently studying towards a relevant National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree. This learnership programme will accommodate fourteen (14) people.
The SAB ABI Pretoria Manufacturing Packaging Learnership offers both on-the-job training and off-the-job learning for a period of approximately 12-months, at the successful completion of which learners will be awarded with an NQF-aligned national certificate – the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging. This learnership will be based in Hercules, Pretoria and will start on 1 July 2016.
What are the requirements?
To be considered for these learnership opportunities, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have a Grade 12/Matric qualification with Mathematics and Physical Science as passed subjects; OR
- N3 qualification in an Engineering discipline; OR
- Be studying towards an engineering/ packaging related national diploma or degree.
