Mechigan-headquartered chemical multinational, The DOW Chemical Company, is inviting applications for 2016 Internships for Trainees in the field of Mechanical Engineering from unemployed South African graduates with either a national diploma, BTech or a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Interns will be based at The DOW Chemical Company’s Durban operations for a duration not exceeding twelve months and will receive a market-related salary for the duration of the internship programme.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, applicants have to:
- Have any of these qualifications: BSc in Mechanical Engineering, or BTech Mechanical Engineering, or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering;
- Have a flare for statistical analysis;
- Be good at writing comprehensive technical reports;
- Be a recent graduate who is willing to learn and commit to consistently deliver high quality of work; and
- Have initiative and a high degree of teamwork.
