One of South Africa’s leading banking and financial services institutions, Standard Bank, is inviting applications from unemployed young South Africans with a Grade 12 / Matric certificate for its 2016 Shared Services Learnerships. Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12 months contract and will be paid a monthly stipend of R3000 for the duration of the learnership. On successful completion of the learnership, candidates will be awarded a nationally-recognised Further Education and Training Certificate in Banking at NQF Level 4.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, applicants have to meet the following requirements:
- Be an unemployed South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 years;
- Be computer literate;
- Have a completed Grade 12 / Matric qualification with ANY one or more of these subjects (passed with 60%): Maths Literacy or Mathematics or Accounting;
- Be able to speak, read, and write in English; and
- Must not be studying or partaking in any other learnership.
