Limpopo Department of Transport 2016 Learnerships (Only Matric required)

The Limpopo Department of Transport is inviting applications for its 2016 Learnerships (Ref.: S.5/3/5/2) from unemployed South Africans residing in the province. The learnerships are open to unemployed South African youths with a Grade 12 / Matric qualification. Successful candidates will be appointed on 12-months learnership contracts and will be paid a monthly stipend of R1 995,65 for the duration of the learnership programme. At successful completion of the learnership programme, candidates will be awarded a national recognised National Certificate: Automotive Repairs and Maintenance at NQF Level 3.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be an unemployed South African youth between the ages of 18 and 35 years;
  • Must have NEVER taken part in a learnership;
  • Must have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate with ANY ONE of these subjects: Maths Literacy (Level 4 pass or above) OR pure Maths (Level 3 or above);
  • Be a resident of Limpopo Province.
