The Air Traffic & Navigation Services (ATNS) is inviting applications for its 2017 Air Traffic Control Bursaries from South African citizens with a Matric / Grade 12 certificate. The ATNS bursary programme will provide each successful applicant with an opportunity to undergo training and complete their studies to become air traffic control officer (ATCO) at the Aviation Training Academy (ATA) in Bonaero Park, Gauteng.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, candidates have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African over the age of 18 years;
- Have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate with Mathematics and English as passed subjects (Old Matric: HG D or SG C OR NSC: level 4 upwards);
- Be medically fit.
