South Africa’s third largest gold mining company, Harmony Gold, is inviting applications for its 2016/2017 Engineering Learnerships from unemployed young South Africans interested in becoming Fitters, Riggers or Boilermakers. The learnerships will be based at Harmony Gold’s Joel Mine in the Free State. The learnerships are open to South Africans who have completed either a relevant N2 qualification OR a Technical Grade 12. Learners will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of the learnership programme.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered applicants need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must have completed Technical Grade 12 OR N2 with trade theory and engineering drawing relevant to the trade;
- Be medically fit;
- You must be will to undertake any psychometric assessments required by Harmony Gold Mine;
- Have a passion to “make it happen”.
