Graduate Trainee: Policy & Research Division | Competition Commission

Are you a economics post-graduate in possession of an Honours degree in Economics? Are you a South African citizen? Yes? Then you will be glad to know that the Competition Commission of South Africa is inviting applications for a Graduate Trainee position within its legal services division. This is a 12-months fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be appointed on a training contract and receive remuneration of R158 580.73 all inclusive cost-to-company package.

What are the requirements

To be considered for this graduate trainee opportunity applicants will have to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Have a completed Honours degree in Economics;
  • Must be a consistent academic performer with an average of 60% pass rate;
  • Computer literacy;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Above average writing skills;
  • Must have never been employed permanently before; and
  • Good research, analytical and drafting skills
