South African founded multinational payment solutions provider, Paycorp, is inviting applications for its 2016 Technical Learnerships for people living with disabilities from unemployed South African youths with a Grade 12 certificates. Learners will be placed in Paycorp’s ATM Solutions business unit in Johannesburg and be trained as Bench Repair Learners for a period of 12-months. A monthly learnership allowance will be paid for the duration of the learnerships.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African youth below the age of 35 years, and be living with a disability;
- Have a Grade 12 certificate;
- Be able to use tools and have technical aptitude;
- While not a strict minimum requirement, it will be to your advantage if you are computer literate.
If I get appointed, what will my duties be?
- Carry out all occupationally related work for the employer required for the practical workplace experience activities specified in the learnership
- Comply with the employer’s workplace policies and procedures
- Be available for, and participate in, all structured learning and practical workplace experience activities required by the learnership
- Attend all theoretical learning sessions and practical learning activities with the training provider
- Complete timesheets and projects and participate in any assessment activities that are required for the final assessment at the end of the learnership
- Undertake all learning relating to the learnership conscientiously
