Do you have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate? Are you looking for an opportunity to earn while you learn? SAPREF, which is a jointly owned company between BP Southern Africa and Shell Refining South Africa, and manages the single buoy mooring (SBM) on behalf of the South African oil industry. The SBM supplies 80% of the South African oil industry with crude oil, and is based in Durban South. Learners will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of the learnership.
What are the requirements?
- Be a South African citizen;
- Have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science as passed subjects, OR have an equivalent qualification (such as an N3 OR NC(V)4).
- While the opportunities are open to all South Africans, preference will be given to candidates who are residents of Durban South and surrounding areas.
- Opportunities that are available are as follows and the requirements are the same as above (you need to indicate one when applying):
- Chemical Operations Learnership;
- Electrician Apprenticeship;
- Rigging Apprenticeship;
- Mechanical Apprenticeship; and
- Instrument Mechanician Apprenticeship.
