One of South Africa’s leading insurance and financial service providers, Discovery, is inviting applications for its Discovery VitalityLife 2017 Learnerships from unemployed South Africans with a Matric / Grade 12 qualification. Successful candidates will be trained towards becoming qualified Call Centre Consultants, with a National Certificate in Contact Centre and Business Process Outsourcing Support at NQF Level 3. Candidates are will be paid a monthly learnership allowance for the duration of the training and will be based at Discovery’s offices in Sandton, Gauteng.
What are the requirements?
To be considered for this learnership, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must have a Matric / Grade 12 qualification with Maths (passed with 50% / D / Level 4 or higher) OR Maths Literacy (passed with 60%/ C / Level 5 or higher), English (passed with 50%/ D / Level 4 or higher), and another language (passed with 50% / D / Level 4 or higher);
- Not be working or currently studying;
- Must have not been in an internship before;
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID;
- Be a young person between the ages of 18 and 30 years;
- Be able to communicate effectively in English; and
- Be able to operate a computer and have an interest in computers and customer service.
