ARC Agriculture – Animal Production Internships (Minimum: N.Dip)

The Agricultural Research Council of South Africa (ARC) is inviting applications for its 2016/2017 internships from suitably qualified South African graduates with a National Diploma or higher qualification (e.g. BSc) in Agriculture specialising in Animal Production. Interns will be placed for a period of one-year (12 months) on the Kaonafatso ya Kgomo – Beef Recording and Improvement Scheme in all nine provinces of South Africa.

What are the requirements?

Interested candidates should ensure that they meet the below requirements before they apply for the Kaonafatso ya Kgomo internships at ARC:

  • Be a South African citizen with a National Diploma or higher in Agriculture (Animal Production);
  • You must be motivated and prepared to visit farms and villages;
  • Posses good human relations and communication (verbal and written) skills.

When applying candidates need to indicate which province they would prefer to be appointed in.
