The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) is inviting applications from auditing and accounting graduates for its Compliance Internship Programme. A monthly stipend of R6 480 will be paid for the duration of the internship programme, which is 18 months. Interns will be based at the MHSC office in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
What are the requirements?
Minimum Education: Three year Diploma or Degree in Auditing or Accounting.
Key performance areas
The successful candidate will be trained in, but not limited to the following:
- Filing the evidence of implementing each strategic initiative as per the submissions indicated in the Quarterly Reports
- Filing the evidence of implementing the action plans for both the Operational and Strategic risks
- Filing the evidence of resolving audit findings
- Filing the evidence of implementing each strategic initiative as per the submissions indicated in the Quarterly Reports
- Filing of contracts
