The South African Competition Commission, an independent agency of the South African Government empowered by the Competition Act to investigate, control and evaluate restrictive business practices, abuse of dominant positions and mergers in order to achieve equity and efficiency in the economy, is inviting applications from interested young South Africans who have completed a relevant degree or National Diploma for its 12-18 months Graduate Internship Programme. Successful candidates will be paid an annual stipend of R154 580.30.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Degree/diploma in Communication, Journalism, public relations, and communication science
- Be a South African citizen
- A consistent academic performer
- Should not have worked as a permanent employee previously
All graduates should have:
- Good academic background.
- Well-developed writing skills.
- Interpersonal skills as well as computer literacy are prerequisites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
- Be a self-starter.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- An energetic, dynamic and committed individual
