South African’s state-owned electricity producing company, Eskom, is inviting applications from unemployed South Africans with a Grade 12/Matric qualification OR an N3 for its learnerships and apprenticeships currently available at its Tutuka Power Station in Mpumalanga province. Successful candidates will be trained in various trades including: Electrical, Control and Instrumentation and Mechanical. The are 21 places on the learnership and apprenticeship programme and candidates will be trained as follows: seven candidates will be trained in Electrical, seven candidates in Mechanical, while another seven candidates will be trained in Control and Instrumentation.
What are the requirements?
To be considered, you have to meet the following requirements:
- You should have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate with Physical Science and Mathematics OR an N3 (or NQF Level 4);
- Must have passed English
- Be computer literate;
- Have problem solving skills; and
- Be able to apply Maths and Science knowledge.
