South African Reserve Bank 2018 Graduate Internships (Various)

South Africa’s central bank, the South African Reserve Bank (SARB), is inviting applications for its 2018 internships on its Graduate Development Programme. The Graduate Development Programme will provide internships in the following fields: accounting, actuarial sciences, economics, finance, information technology, international relations, risk management, law, labour, political science,  and supply chain management. The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is specially designed to provide knowledge of the financial sector in general and the role of the central bank in the economy. You will have the opportunity to work for a reputable institution that has a critical role to play in the South African economy.

As a SARB graduate, you will work at the SARB Head Office in Pretoria from January to December 2018. During the year, you will attend courses in central bank studies – policy, regulation and financial markets – as well as personal and professional studies such as making presentations, impactful reporting, data analysis, teamwork and diplomacy.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be a South African citizen;
  • Have a completed tertiary qualification or be currently in your final year completing a qualification in ANY of these fields: accounting, actuarial sciences, economics, finance, information technology, international relations, risk management, law, labour, political science,  and supply chain management.
