TRT Rea Vaya 2017/18 Internships (Various)

Tshwane Rapid Transit (Pty) Ltd invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for internships on its graduate development programme to be launched in July 2017. The aim of the program is to attract and develop young talented leaders by offering practical skills acquisition to prepare them for further employment outside the company. Participants must be from Tshwane.

We seek individuals who are achievement driven, passionate and go getters ready to accept this exciting opportunity. The program is for twelve (12) months and is targeting high performing graduates with Administration or equivalent qualification. The Graduate Development Programme (GDP) integrates academic knowledge and practical skills.

The GDP opportunity aims to achieve, among others, the following objectives:

  • To provide workplace exposure to graduates to meet key skills needs
  • To provide development opportunities in key career streams
  • To recruit high performing graduates from diverse backgrounds to enhance the position of TRT as an employer of

Experience:-

No work experience required. However, the ideal student should not possess not more than (one) 1 year’s work experience (including internship experience).

Specific knowledge and skills:

Adaptability; Customer Orientation; Results Orientation; Self-confidence; Initiative; Enthusiasm; Self-driven; Self-awareness; Process Orientation; Attention to detail; Stress Tolerance; Perseverance / Tenacity and Work independently.

Skills:

MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Analytical; Business Etiquette; Interpersonal; Numerical Reasoning; Verbal and written communication; Problem-solving; Time Management; Report Writing.

The following qualification streams within Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) / Bachelor of Technology (BTECH) / National Diploma (NDIP):

  • Human Resources
  • Social Sciences
  • Administration
  • Transport Management/Logistics
