Crest Chemicals, a subsidiary of African Explosives and Chemical Industries (AECI), is inviting applications for its 2017 learnerships in Freight Handling from unemployed young South Africans with a Matric / Grade 12 certificate. The learnerships will be based at Crest Chemicals’ offices in Midrand, Gauteng for a period of twelve-months which will result in learners being awarded a National Certificate in Freight Handling (NQF 3) on successful completion. Successful candidates will be offered 12-months contracts and will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of this contract.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered for this learnerships at Crest Chemicals in Midrand, you should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with Mathematics and Physical Science;
- Age group 18 – 25 years;
- Ability to work within a Chemical environment; and
- Advantage: Basic computer literacy would be an advantage.
