AECI Chemical Operations Learnerships | Only Grade 12 required

Are you a young South African citizen? Do you have a Grade 12/Matric certificate? South African chemicals and explosives giant, African Explosives and Chemical Industries Limited (AECI), is inviting applications  for learnership opportunities that are currently available within its Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal operations. Successful candidates will be placed on a 12-months long learnership programme, two months of which will be spent attending theoretical classes at either the AECI Training Centre at Chloorkop / Zibambela (Modderfontein) OR Umbogintwini Complex in KwaZulu-Natal. Learners will receive a learnership allowance for the duration of the learnership programme.

Successful completion of this learnership will result in the learner being awarded an NQF Level 2 National Certificate in Chemical Operations.

What are the requirements?

  • Be an unemployed young South African;
  • Have a Grade 12/Matric certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science OR S4 Chemical Engineering;
  • Be able to work in a chemical environment; and
  • While not a strict minimum requirement: it would be an advantage if you are computer literate.
