South African energy and chemical company, Sasol, is inviting applications for its 2019 bursaries. The bursaries are offered in various fields and for different levels of study: current matric learners, matriculants (those who completed Grade 12 or N3) and current students can apply for undergraduate bursaries (for study either at university or university of technology), while graduate who want to further their studies can apply for postgraduate bursaries. The 2019 Sasol bursaries are full bursaries that pay for full tuition fees, accommodation, meals, and offer a book and pocket money allowance.
What are the requirements?
- You have to be studying or intending to study towards one of the following:
- University of Technology students should be studying towards: Mechanical Engineering, Mine Surveying;Electrical Engineering OR Process Instrumentation;
- University students can be studying towards: a B Eng or BSc Engineering (in any of the following: Mechanical, Electronic, Chemical, Electrical, Computer, Mining, Civil, or Industrial Engineering) OR a BSc degree (in any of these: Chemistry [It is compulsory that you study until Masters], Metallurgy [It is compulsory that you must study until Honours], or Geology [It is compulsory that you must study until Honours].) OR a BCom Accounting / BBscience CA Stream (It is compulsory that you study until CTA or PGDA);
- Postgraduate students should study full-time in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering towards a Masters or PhD degree.
