The Land and Agricultural Development Bank of South Africa (Land Bank) is a National Development Finance Institution that specialises in Agricultural Financing and Rural Development. In terms of its founding Act, the Bank is charged with the promotion of the Sustainable Development of the Agricultural sector, with particular focus on growth and investment in the sector, transformation for wider inclusive participation, quality employment creation and food security. The Bank has grown in leaps and bounds, currently with an asset base in excess of R44 billion. It further continues to invest in new capabilities, a progressive culture and an adaptive operating business model that enables the effective execution of its strategy. In terms of its strategy, the Land Bank is guided by the quest for greater Development Effectiveness, strong Financial Sustainability, and sound Corporate Governance.
The Graduate Learner Programme is for a fixed term contract period of eighteen (18) months. The main purpose of the Graduate Learner Programme is for new graduates to have the opportunity to explore their specific area of specialisation as a career interest, develop skills and knowledge and gain practical work experience within the various areas of qualification specialisation as indicated below.
We currently have vacancies for graduates who are between the ages of 18 to 30 and who have a passion for Agriculture and Development. Whilst allocation of Graduate Learners will predominantly made in our Centurion Head Office it should be noted that placements, depending on organisational requirements, might be made in any one of the Land Bank’s Provincial offices.
What are the requirements?
