South African JSE-listed financial services firm MMI Holdings Limited (MMI)is inviting applications from young South Africans who have completed either a National Diploma or degree in Human Resources for their 2019 Human Capital Internship to be placed at their Belville, Cape Town offices.

The Human Capital Intern will execute various recruitment administrative processes and support the HC team in delivering a consistent HC service that empowers the business to achieve its strategic objectives

REQUIREMENTS

  • Interns must have achieved a National Senior Certificate (Matric/Grade 12)
  • 3 year HR Diploma/Degree. (preferable HRM/HRD)
  • Only South African youth may be registered on an internship
  • be aged between 18 and 35
  • be unemployed
  • Previously disadvantaged candidates

L&D Functions

  • Learning administration
  • Course scheduling
  • Delegate booking
  • Venue bookings
  • Course costing
  • Reporting
  • Administration of the Learner Management System
  • Creating learning communications
  • Quality Assurance of learning material
  • Conduct learning needs analysis
  • Design and develop learning material for classroom
  • Design and develop learning material for eLearning
  • Analyse success of learning and create learning ROI reports
  • Creating learning assessments
  • Facilitation of learning
  • Assist on Project Management of a large project
  • Assistance with various SDF functions such as learnerships providing data for WSP and ATR etc

HC Functions

  • Prepare and post job advertisements
  • Review and screen CV received from job advertisements
  • In collaboration with the HR team short-list relevant candidate in line with the selection criteria
  • Conduct reference, probity checks and background checks on short-listed candidates and provide feedback to the relevant stakeholder
  • Conduct telephonic interviews with candidates
  • Coordinate the candidate assessment process
  • Book and coordinate the logistical arrangement for the recruitment process (interviews, meeting rooms etc.)
  • Make recommendations regarding candidate suitability based on interviews and checks to the relevant stakeholders
  • Serve as a key contact for candidates throughout the attraction, interview and offer stages
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks
