SAAB is inviting application for an RF Graduate position currently available in their Cape Town office. Candidates must have a BSc/BEng in Electronic Engineering or Similar. This role is will be responsible for:
- Testing and fault finding of RF circuitry
- Technical assistance to Production and System Integration teams during the execution of subsystem testing
- Assist RF product TDA with design solutions and maintenance of RF product baselines of existing and new products
- Assist in the planning and management of the technical development process and monitor technical performance
- Support the product industrialisation phase and production
- Assist with budgets – Capex and hardware costing as well as costing inputs for Marketing
Qualification and additional requirements:
- Bsc Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel and Financial Database experience.
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare Systems fundamentals and development processes will be beneficial.
- Knowledge of multi‐disciplinary engineering and R&D.
- Knowledge of and / or experience in RF and microwave technology.
- Must be able to use RF analogue test equipment.
- Must be able to read circuit diagrams.
- Experience in the use of RF simulation software.
- Systematic fault finding skills.
- Exposure to system engineering (product development processes)
