Overview
Chesterton is looking for a bright and motivated Marketing student to join us for a 3-6-month stint helping us with some of our marketing analytics work.
We are open to part-time or full-time work depending on the availability of the right person. Pay is $17-18/hr. Chesterton is not local to public transportation, so interested students will need access to a reliable vehicle to get to our location for work.
Job Summary:
Provides support to the marketing team members in researching, gathering, analysing, reporting, and when necessary presenting market intelligence data. Manage market intelligence data base. May also provide general marketing department administrative support for other corporate marketing functions (i.e. – demand generation, social marketing, design, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Develop understanding of customer and market behaviours in order to inform market research and strategies.
- Utilize analytical marketing techniques and investigate industries to target customers and prospects. Keep up to date on customer and competitive intelligence and market info.
- Leverage in-house reporting and external sources to analyse partner/industry data and trends to help better position assigned product line.
- Maintain market intelligence database.
- Develop and produce regular market research reports.
- Partner with IT, sales, customer service, and other cross-functional groups to ensure coordinated activities and ensure data needs are met.

What are the requirements?
- Full or part-time student enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university
- Preferred overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Minimum of Sophomore Standing
- Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in marketing or closely related field of study.
- CRM experience desired.
- Direct experience with e-commerce platforms and email marketing campaigns is a plus.
- Demonstrated research skills.
