We offer paid internships at our corporate locations in New York, NY, Camp Hill, PA, Bradenton, FL, Wausau, WI, Oshkosh, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL and Junction City, KS. As an Intern you will learn about the retail and ecommerce industry; participate in a collaborative business project, volunteer opportunities, and corporate trainings. Summary:

Being part of the HR team at the Junction City Distribution Center requires that you help create a culture that encourages teamwork and ownership of business results. In partnership with the local HR team you will serve an active role to help support an employee base of more than 700 associates.  You will be presented with and accountable for key projects that serve critical business needs.  At the conclusion of the internship you will have the opportunity to present your project results to HR and Operations Senior Leadership Teams.  

As a/an HR team intern, you will:

  • Gain insight into current issues in field operations human resources work
  • Participate in all HR related activities in Foot Locker’s largest distribution center in the system
  • Influence internal business partners and key leaders within the community of Junction City, KS

Responsibilities:

  • Lead challenging HR projects
  • Be expected to make a significant and sustainable contribution to Footlocker’s success
  • Ability to understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective
  • Must be a confident communicator, and have the ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization, including the senior leadership team

What are the requirements?

  • Be a junior or senior in college, or a Spring 2020 graduate
  • Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary
  • Be available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
