SAB AB InBev 2020 Chamdor Apprenticeships (Minimum: N4 and Matric)

Beverages maker, SAB / AB InBev , is inviting applications for its 2020 Apprenticeship opportunities at its Chamdor Production facility in Krugersdorp from young South Africans with a Matric certificate and a minimum of an N4 certificate. Apprentices will be paid a monthly allowance for the duration of their apprenticeships, at the end of which they are expected to have qualified as artisans.

Successful candidates will be trained to become an artisan in any of these fields: Electrical, Fitting and Turning, Millwright, or Instrument Mechanician.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Have a Grade 12/ Matric certificate with Mathematics and Science;
  • Have a minimum of an N4 certificate with trade theory for any of the following trades: Electrical OR Fitting and Turning OR Millwright OR Instrument Mechanician;
  • Be mentally alert, have analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Have Engineering aptitude; and
  • Have owner mindset.
  • ADVANTAGE: A relevant higher qualification (e.g. N5 or N6) in the relevant trade
