PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) are inviting applications for their 2021 bursaries for Grade 12 learners wishing to pursue or students currently pursuing studies towards a SAICA-accredited accountancy qualification with a South African university, leading to registration as a Chartered Accountant.
The bursaries are linked to the following local offices of PwC: Mahikeng, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Pietermaritzburg, eMalahleni, Durban, Nelspruit, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Robertson, Worcester, East London, Secunda.
The PwC CA training programme prepares you for the exciting world of business. This programme will expose you to impressive teams in a stimulating business environment. You can apply for to the PwC CA training programme any time during your studies, including Grade 12. If your application is successful, your learnership will begin after you have completed your honours degree or once you’ve received your Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA).
What are the requirements?
Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:
- Grade 12 with matric exemption and university acceptance;
- Mathematics and English as subjects (Maths Literacy doesn’t qualify);
- An average of 60% for all your subjects Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
