Are you a young South African citizen intending to pursuing further education at a Western Cape university in 2021? Do you need study funding? The Western Cape Department of Transport is inviting applications for their 2021 Masakh’iSizwe Bursary Programme from people like you.
Masakh’iSizwe offers bursaries for full-time studies towards a degree or diploma in the transport, engineering and built environment disciplines:
- Architecture
- Construction Management
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Town and Regional Planning
- Transport Economists
- Economists
- Geomatics
- Property Studies
The bursary pays most education costs including tuition, accommodation, food, transport, and prescribed books.
What are the requirements?
You must be intending to student at any of the following Western Cape universities:
- University of Cape Town
- Cape Peninsula University of Technology
- Stellenbosch University
You should the following minimum requirements:
- A South African citizen
- Students accepted at the relevant tertiary institutions
- Preference will be given, but not limited to:
- Persons with disabilities, the financially disadvantaged, female learners and applicants from rural areas of South Africa.
