South African retail giant, Shoprite, is inviting applications for its 2021 Pharmacy Bursary Programme from current Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) students. The Bursary aims at attracting and funding talented Pharmacy students who have a passion for Health Care in the Retail Industry. When joining our Pharmacy programme you will get exposure to different aspects within our Pharmaceutical division, you will also get to learn our core retail business as all our MediRite Pharmacies are within our Checkers, Checker Hyper, and Shoprite stores. Registered university students with a 65% aggregate or higher are encouraged to apply. This bursary will only be offered to first and second-year Pharmacy students.
What are the requirements?
For candidates to be considered they should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be studying towards a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree
- Achieve 65% Aggregate
- Must be in 1st & 2nd academic year
- Be South African citizen
- Be 27 years old and younger
