The Department of Public Work and Infrastructure’s Port Elizabeth Regional Office is inviting applications from unemployed South African graduates with qualifications in various fields for its 2021-2023 internships. Successful applicants will be required to enter into 24-months internship contracts.

Note that the Programme will be for a non-renewable period of 24 months. Interested candidates should forward a completed Z83 Form obtainable from any Public Service Department, accompanied by a comprehensive CV and copies of their ID and qualifications (including Grade 12 Certificate academic record and Diploma/Degree certificate).(only shortlisted candidates will submit certifies copies) No late applications will be accepted. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the candidate being disqualified. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. If you have not been contacted within one month of the closing date of this advertisement, please accept that your application was unsuccessful. The successful candidate will be required to undergo security vetting/clearance and criminal record check. Through the Internship Programme, the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure is committed to provide opportunities for qualifying candidates to gain skills, experience and knowledge in their respective career fields. Applicants must be South African citizens who have never participated in an internship programme in any government department/Private Sector. Must not be older than 35 years of age.

Stipent: R6 083.70 per month
