Belgotex Floors 2021 Electrical Engineering Graduate

Belgotex Floors Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal is inviting Graduate to apply for its 2021 Electrical Engineering Graduate.To assist the Electrical Engineering department to carry out electrical engineering work where mentorship will be provided to ensure safe work practices.The graduate will be required to partake in projects issued by the Electrical Manager as part of the development Programme.

Key Resposibilities

  • Fill in a log book
  • Exposure to practical electrical work
  • Identify, label, and understand the use of various electrical components. This includes understanding the mechanics behind the component, know what it does, and how it is used for the different applications
  • Be able to perform testing and troubleshooting on various electrical components
  • Gain exposure to the electrical equipment in the production environment
  • Work under supervision and be given small project work in the production environment for example – Be able to wire up a small panel
  • Low voltage
  • Medium voltage switch gear in the substation – how the mechanics work, transformers, tripping and safety relays
  • Learning how to use the various testers
  • Working with Artisans to understanding components of the Electrical department
  • PLC, Programming and AC/DC Drives

What are the Requirements?

To be considered, applicant should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
