The African News Agency, Africa’s first syndicated, multimedia news and content distribution service, are inviting applications for Journalist Intern positions currently available in their Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban offices. Applicants should be graduates of a diploma or degree in journalism or a related field of study. Successful applicants will be appointed on a 12-months internship contract.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must have a relevant tertiary qualification, e.g. Journalism
- Must be Tech Savvy, with a strong interest in digital / social media platforms
- Must be interested in online, mobile and digital media
- Must be computer literate
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work under pressure in highly demanding environment
- Must be a forward thinker and able to source solutions t growing our business and brand
- Be innovative and creative
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Good organisational skills
- Self – motivated and able to work under pressure
- Listening skills
- Proactive
- Applicant should have good analytical skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills
