Medirite Khayelitsha Pharmacist Assistant Learnership (Only Matric required)

Dreaming of a career within the retail and pharmaceutical industry? Do you have a Grade 12/Matric certificate? Medirite offers an exciting learnership programme to qualify as a Pharmacist’s Assistant. This position will require you to work and obtain a qualification at the same time. The main purpose of the job is to assist the pharmacist in dispensing and to perform pharmacy related administrative duties. The successful candidate must be willing to work retail hours.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African citizen;
- Have a Matric/Grade 12 certificate with Maths and Science as passed subjects;
- Be computer literate in MS Office;
- Be fluent in English and at least one other official language;
- Very good interpersonal and customer skills;
- High level of attention to detail;
- Sound numerical skills;
- The following are not minimum requirements but will serve as an added advantage:
- Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems would be advantageous
- Experience in a Pharmacy would be advantageous
