Western Cape Health 2021 Pharmacist’s Assistant Learnerships (Only Matric required)

Are you a South African resident in the Western Cape? Do you have a Grade 12/Matric certificate? The Western Cape Department of Health is inviting applications for their two-year Pharmacist’s Assistant Learnerships to be based with various hospitals within the province. Learners will be registered with a training provider accredited with the South African Pharmacy Council during their training and, on completion, they will be registered with the Council as Post-Basic Pharmacist’s Assistants. Learners will be paid a monthly stipend of R4 237 per month during the learnership contract.

What are the requirements?

Minimum educational qualification:
• Senior Certificate/Grade 12.
Inherent requirements of the job:
• Unemployed youth between ages 18-35 years old.
• English is compulsory.
• Grade 12 Mathematics, Level 3 pass (40-49%) or Mathematics Literacy, Level 4 (50%-59%).
• Life Science or Biology
