Boehringer Ingelheim is a Pharmaceutical Company founded in 1885 by Albert Boehringer (1861-1939) in Ingelheim am Rhein. From its beginnings in 1885 when it employed just 28 people in Nieder-Ingelheim, the company has since become a global enterprise. As part of research and development activities for innovative drugs, the company focuses primarily on the therapeutic areas of cardiovascular disease, respiratory diseases, diseases of the central nervous system, metabolic diseases, virological diseases and oncology.

The successful candidates will have an opportunity to receive training in a variety of disciplines operating within the company.  We have a period of 12 months learnership opportunities across the various departments such as Marketing, Sales, Human Resource, Finance as well as Business Support.

Who should apply?

To be considered eligible to apply for Boehringer SA’s Learnership Programme, candidates must be able to meet the following minimum requirements in the required fields:

Business Support Learnership:

  • B.A Business Analytics or B.A. Digital Marketing

Human Resource Learnership:

  • B.A/B.Com Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology

Finance & Administration:

  • B.Com Accounting, B.Com Financial Management or any other related Finance Degree

Marketing:

  • B.Com Marketing Management and Communications

Sales:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy, B.Sc. Dietetics, Biochemistry and Microbiology, Genetics, Diploma in Nursing
