BHBW South Africa, previously trading as Barloworld Handling and Barloworld Agriculture, is inviting applications for their apprenticeships currently available in their machinery division in Boksburg, Gauteng from unemployed young South Africans with a Grade 12 or N3 certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science. The purpose of the apprentice will be learning and practising the applicable trade under the guidance of skilled or qualified persons, to gather sufficient practical experience. The apprentice will be responsible for:
- Successfully complete all theoretical learning
- Successfully complete all practical training and skills assessments
- Apply skills learnt in the workplace
- Complete necessary documentation for required experience building (Logbook / Training records)
- Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
- Achieve individual Balanced Scorecard and KPIs
- Effective self-management and performance ownership
- Adherence to any reasonable instruction
