Machinery and equipment solutions provider, Komatsu, is inviting applications for its various apprenticeships within its Komatsu Mining Corporation division’s offices at eMalahleni in Mpumalanga and Germiston, Gauteng. Various apprenticeship opportunities exist for the following trades: boilermaker, fitter, turner, welder, millwright and electrician. These opportunities are available to South Africans who have completed either N3, NC(V) 4, or S1 with relevant subjects.

In the apprenticeship, you would be expected to:
- Acquaint yourself with the training programme and ensure that you know what is expected of you.
- Ensure that you work SAFELY AT ALL TIMES.
- Ensure that you are competent on all the required modules.
What are the requirements?
In order to be considered for the apprenticeships at Komatsu, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
- N3 with 4 subjects, including the relevant trade theory with minimum D / L4 symbol for Mathematics and Physical science
- NC(V) level 4 with minimum D / L4 symbol for: Mathematics and another subject on engineering and related design or electrical infrastructure construction
- S1(Mathematics & Physical science D / L4 symbol) or higher.
