Duties an Responsibilities:

  • Count and record cattle for dipping
  • Ensure that water level for dipping is correct
  • Mixing of dipping material
  • Monitor dipping
  • Clean entrance to dipping kraal and drainage area after each dipping
  • Do minor dipping tanks repairs
  • Ensure that dipping material is safeguarded
  • Report to Animal Health Technician any defects and problems that need attention
  • Assist with vaccinations, treatments and restraining of animals during castration and dehorning

What are the Requirements?

To be considered, applicant should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • An appropriate qualification at a minimum of NQF level 3 (Grade 10)
  • Experience of community dipping functions Animal Health experience will be an added advantage

The Agricultural Research Council of South Africa (ARC) is inviting applications for its 2016/2017 internships from suitably qualified South African graduates with a National Diploma or higher qualification (e.g. BSc) in Agriculture specialising in Animal Production. Interns will be placed for a period of one-year (12 months) on the Kaonafatso ya Kgomo – Beef Recording and Improvement Scheme in all nine provinces of South Africa.

What are the requirements?

Interested candidates should ensure that they meet the below requirements before they apply for the Kaonafatso ya Kgomo internships at ARC:

  • Be a South African citizen with a National Diploma or higher in Agriculture (Animal Production);
  • You must be motivated and prepared to visit farms and villages;

The Limpopo Economic Development Agency is inviting applications for its 2016 graduate internships from unemployed South Africans with tertiary qualifications in various study fields. The internships will be based at LEDA’s head offices in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo for a duration of 12 months over which a monthly stipend will be paid. Applications are invited from unemployed young South Africans who are permanent residents of Limpopo Province.

What are the requirements?

In addition to the qualification requirements listed in the table below, the following minimum requirements should be met by applicants:

  • Be a South African unemployed young person (18 to 35 years of age);
  • Be a permanent resident of Limpopo;
  • Must have never participated in any internship programme;
  • Must have a qualification as listed in the table below:

Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (Implats) is inviting applications for its 2016/2017 bursaries from young South Africans who are currently studying or preparing to study towards a tertiary qualification in any of the following fields: Accounting (up to Honours), Chemistry (up-to Honours), Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current), Geology (up-to Honours), BCom Human Resources (up-to Honours), Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, and Survey. The Implats bursaries covers registration and school fees, residence fees, meals, a computer allowance (from 2nd year) and a cash allowance.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for the Implats bursaries, you have to meet the following requirements:

  • Must pass (or have passed your Matric / Grade 12) with university entrance;
  • Must be planning to study or currently studying towards a tertiary qualification in: Accounting (up to Honours), Chemistry (up-to Honours), Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current), Geology (up-to Honours), BCom Human Resources (up-to Honours), Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, and Survey.

The Limpopo provincial government department responsible for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism in the province is inviting applications for its 2016 internships in various fields. The internship programme will last for a period of 12-months and will pay annual stipend of R62 522.43 (which equates to R5 210.20 per month) for the duration of the internships. Applications are open to South African graduates in the fields listed below, who are between the ages of 18 and 35 years and reside in the Limpopo Province.

What are the requirements?

In addition to the qualification requirements listed in the table below, the following requirements are also applicable:

  • Be a South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35 years old;
  • Be resident in Limpopo;
  • Must have never participated in a government internship programme before; and
