South African Breweries’ (SAB) Polokwane Production in Polokwane, Limpopo is currently accepting applications for placement on their 1-year Learnership Programme. The packaging learnerships are targeted at young South Africans with a Matric/Grade 12 qualification with Maths and Science as passed subjects OR an N3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The learnership will accommodate 6 learners.

The SAB Polokwane Production Packaging Learnership offers both on-the-job training and off-the-job learning for a period of approximately 12-months, at the successful completion of which learners will be awarded with a National Certificate at NQF level 3 – the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging. This learnership will be based in Polokwane, Limpopo.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for these learnership opportunities, you have to meet the following minimum requirements:

Have a Grade 12/Matric qualification with Maths and Science as passed subjects OR N3 in Engineering;
NO experience is required;
While NOT a minimum requirement; a Diploma in Engineering will be an added advantage.

SAB Mpumalanga Sales Learnerships (Only Matric & Driver’s License required)

Do you have knowledge of Dwarsloop, Ermelo or Nelspruit (Mbombela) in Mpumalanga? Do you have a Matric / Grade 12 certificate? Are you looking for an opportunity to learn while you earn? The South African Breweries’ (SABMiller) depots in Ermelo and Nelspruit are inviting applications for its sales learnership programme which is expected to run for a period of twelve months based at Dwarsloop, Emerlo or Nelspruit (Mbombela) operations. Applicants are therefore required have knowledge of the local area. Applicants are required to have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate and a Code 08 drivers license. Learners will be paid a monthly learnership allowance for the duration of the learnership and, on successful completion of the learnership programme, will be achieve an NQF Level 4 qualification from the Food and Beverages Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA).

What are the requirements?

You are expected to meet the following minimum requirements before applying:

Have a Matric/Grade 12 certificate;
Have a valid unendorsed Code 08 (or Code B) drivers license;
Negotiation skills;
Sales and marketing orientation;
Local area knowledge;
Good interpersonal skills.
