Mazars 2018 Accounting (CA) Bursaries

The world’s 8th largest audit, accounting and consulting firm, Mazars, which operates in more than 70 countries, is inviting applications from current accounting students or those who are intending to pursue a SAICA-accredited accounting qualification at a SAICA-accredited university/institution in 2018 (current matric learners included). The bursary will only consider studies towards a qualification that leads to a Chartered Accountancy (CA (SA)) career.

What are the requirements?

First and foremost you have to show a commitment to your studies and a career with Mazars. The meet the following minimum requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) pass with flying colours and be able to be admitted to a SAICA-accredited degree.
If you are already at university studying towards a SAICA-accredited qualification.

Please note the above are only minimum requirements.

What am I expected to do if I get the Mazars Bursary?

You are expected to do the following:

You must be able to take-up and complete a 3-year SAICA training contract (Articles) with Mazars Moores Rowland on you completion your studies.
Make yourself available for vacation work at Mazars at least once every year during your studies
You must submit your academic results at the end of each semester.
You must, when required, avail yourself to attend Mazars social functions.

Africa’s largest retailer, Shoprite Group, is inviting applications from 1st, 2nd, 3rd year and Honours students in accounting degrees at SAICA-recognised universities for its 2015 Accounting (CA Stream) Bursary Programme. On completion of studies, candidates will be offered an opportunity to join Shoprite Group’s finance division. The bursary will cover your studies to the tune of up to R60 000 per year.

What are the requirements?

Successful completion of the first six months with an average of 60%+ in a Bachelors of Accounting or BCompt, leading to CTA and qualifying for a registered articles program.

Enrst & Young is offering an opportunity of a lifetime to learners currently in Grade 12 who intends becoming Chartered Accountants – CA(SA) – and to those students already at university studying a South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)-recognised CA(SA) qualification. Enrst & Young is inviting applications for its 2015 bursary programme from students currently at SAICA-recognised university studying towards a chartered accountancy degree and those currently in matric/grade 12 and planning to study towards a chartered accountancy degree.

What are the requirements?

The bursary opportunity is open to students currently studying a relevant accountancy degree OR matric learners planning to study towards an CA(SA) degree in 2015.

What are the requirements?

You have to meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this bursary opportunity:

You have to be studying OR intending to study towards a Chartered Accountancy (CA(SA)) qualification at a SAICA-recognised university;
