Do you want to work and obtain a qualification at the same time? Are you passionate about healthcare and delivering superior patient care? Clicks has an exciting opportunity available to complete a Learnership Programme to qualify as a Pharmacist Assistant. The position reports to the Pharmacy Manager. Successfully complete a National Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme (Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant) and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant) through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academy. A structured learning programme that consists of a theoretical and practical component and that leads to a qualification that is registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Successfully complete the Learnership Training Contracts at a registered Clicks Pharmacy and under an approved tutor
Attend the required training interventions and successfully complete the competency assessments
Submit a Portfolio of Evidence
Provide support to the healthcare team in one of the Click’s Pharmacies under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and within the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

Essential requirement: completion of Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics (or 60% in Mathematical Literacy) ; 50% in English and a Pass in Life Science (Biology)/Physics

Clicks Pharmacy Carnival Mall 2016 Learnerships (Only Matric required)

The Clicks Pharmacy in Brakpan’s Carnival Mall is inviting applications from South African candidates with a Matric/Grade 12 qualification for their 14-months long Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme – successful applicants will be trained practically (in the pharmacy) and in the classroom. Applicants are required to have passed their Grade 12 with Maths Literacy OR Maths and English.

Learners will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of the 14-months long learnership.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for the Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme at the Clicks Pharmacy in Cape Glen ensure that you meet the following minimum requirements:

Have a Matric/ Grade 12 qualification with 50% or more in Maths (OR 60% or more in Maths Literacy) and English passed with 50% or more;
Be customer service oriented;
You pay attention to detail at all times;
Be able and willing to follow instruction;
Have literacy and numeracy skills;
Know how to operate a computer.
