Premier, the owner of the Blue Ribbon bread brand, Snowflake, Super Sun, Dove soap and several of other South African household names, is inviting applications for Learnership opportunities to be based at their operations in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Applications are invited from South African citizens with a Grade 12/Matric qualification. A monthly stipend will be paid for the duration of the learnership.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Have a Matric / Grade 12 certificate completed in the passed 24 months;
Must have passed Mathematics and Physical Science with 60% or more;
Be a South African citizen.

2015 UTi Durban Learnerships | (Only Grade 12/Matric required)

Logistics and supply chain solutions conglomerate, UTi, is inviting applications for its 2015 learnerships in its Durban, KwaZulu-Natal offices. Learnership training in the following fields is offered: Freight Handling & Customs Compliance, Information Technology: Systems Support, Systems Development & Database Development; and Business Administration. Applicants are required to be South African citizens with a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or currently doing Grade 12. Learners will receive a monthly stipend of R3200 for the duration of the learnership programme.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, make sure you meet the following minimum requirements before applying:

Must have Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with English and Mathematics as passed subjects (current Grade 12 learners can also apply);
Be computer literate (be able to use Microsoft Office – Word and Excel – and office equipment such as printers, copies, fax machines, etc.);
Be prepared to study on your own as contact classroom tuition will be limited;
Be comfortable with learning through technology (i.e. e-learning);
Be punctual;
Be an energetic person.

2013 Learnership | The Durban South Training Trust (DSTT)

The Durban South Training Trust (DSTT) is an artisan training centre in Isipingo, South Durban that has been training artisans for the past 12 years. It is accredited with the Chemical Industries Seta to provide NQF level 2 to 4 qualiﬁcations in Welding, Boilermaking and Mechanical Fitting. The training centre is currently recruiting trainees for Level 2 Learnerships in Welding, Boilermaking and Mechanical Fitting for the July 2013 intake.

Successful applicants will be placed in a three-year programme, which combines classroom tuition with practical work. They will be paid a minimal stipend for the duration of the programme. Interested? Apply in writing and include your Grade 12 results (with Mathematics and Science) or N3 results and a testimonial from your school/college. Applications must be handed in at the Durban South Training Trust, 115/122 Old Main Road, Isipingo.
