Multinational oil company, Engen, is inviting applications for its 2017 apprenticeships at its Durban Refinery. the apprenticeships are an opportunity for candidates to train as Apprentices and qualify as Artisans in the trades of Fitting, Electrical or Instrumentation. Candidates should have an aptitude for the relevant trade and show a keen interest in developing skills. If you are a team player with the relevant Trade related knowledge and good written & verbal communication skills then you are an ideal candidate.

What are the requirements?

Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:

Have a Grade 12/Matric with pure Maths and Science
The following are not minimum requirements, but will serve as advantages:
- Code 8 Driver’s Licence will be an added advantage
- An N2 in Fitting, Electrical or Instrumentation would be an added advantage

Engen Artisan Learnerships 2016 | Only Matric required

Engen South Africa is inviting applications for its 2016 artisan learnerships from unemployed South Africans with a Grade 12 / Matric qualification. Successful applicants will be trained to become artisans in one of the various trade fields: Electrical, Fitting or Instrumentation. A monthly learnership allowance will be paid for the duration of the learnership programme, by the end of which successful students qualify as artisans in the trade fields as mentioned earlier. This apprentice learnership will be based at Engen’s Durban Refinery in KwaZulu-Natal.

What are the requirements?

Applicants should make sure the meet the following minimum requirement:

Have a Matric / Grade 12 with Maths and Sciences

Advantageous: While the following are not strict minimum requirements and should not prevent you from apply, it could work in you favour if you have them:

An N2 in Electrical, Fitting or Instrumentation;
A driver’s license (minimum: Code 8).
