Are you an environmental science/studies or engineering student seeking for a bursary to fund your studies in 2021? WSP in Africa offers bursaries for engineering and environmental students at recognised universities in South Africa. We support our bursary candidates through vacation work and employment opportunities after studies where possible, giving them the opportunity to not only make their mark on the world but to build a legacy.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, applicants should meet the minimum requirements listed in the table below.

Environmental Sciences Bursary	If you are a passionate and dedicated Environmental Sciences student, currently enrolled for a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Honours) and meet the following further requirements, please send us your application. – In the 3rd or Honours year of your BSc Environmental Sciences degree. – Have achieved a minimum average of 75% and passed all subjects for your 2020 academic year to date. – Please note that students should not be in receipt of another bursary or scholarship to be eligible. – Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals, but all South African Citizens are welcome to apply. Mechanical Engineering Bursary	If you are a passionate and dedicated Engineering student, currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and meet the following further requirements, please send us your application. – In the 2nd, 3rd or Final year of your BEng / BSc (Eng) / BIng Engineering degree. – Have achieved a minimum average of 65% and passed all subjects for your 2020 academic year to date. – Please note that students should not be in receipt of another bursary or scholarship to be eligible. – Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals, but all South African Citizens are welcome to apply. the following fields:

The Sasol Bursary for 2013

The Sasol bursary is one of South Africa’s long running bursary schemes in the fields of science, engineering, commerce and maths. The online application process for this bursary is now open and will run until 29 February 2012 for 2013 tuition. There are no application forms to download and fill-in, the entire process is online at the Sasol Bursaries website: http://www.sasolbursaries.com .

What does the Sasol Bursary pay for?

According to Sasol, the bursary is a comprehensive bursary which includes the following:

100% of the prescribed university tuition fees, registration fees and exams fees.
An amount equal to the average rate for accommodation in a single room at a university hostel at the university at which the Sasol bursar is studying. This rate is determined by Sasol in conjunction with the university.
An amount for meals based on three meals per day as determined by the university.
An amount of approximately R8000,00 per annum, towards book and pocket money.
