The purpose of this programme is to provide learners with advanced workplace learning in a specialised discipline or sub discipline in their field of study.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:

N3/Senior Certificate with Maths and Science
Medically Fit
Pass Client Screening, which includes criminal record screening
Pass Client Induction
Unemployed
Be willing to do psychometric assessments
Fraser Alexander will do background screening of qualifications
Candidate must not have been in a similar apprentice programme before
Successful candidates must be willing to relocate to any Fraser Alexander Sites within South Africa

Afrox 2014/2015 Fitter Apprenticeship

A member of the Linde Group, Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE)-listed African Oxygen Limited (Afrox) is inviting applications from young South Africans with a Matric/Grade 12 certificate together with an N3 qualification with four subjects with a relevant trade theory (e.g. Fitting & Machining) a major for its 2014/2015 Apprenticeship Programme which is available nationally.

What are the requirements?

To be considered for an Afrox apprenticeship opportunity you must meet the following requirements:

Have a Grade 12/Matric qualification;
Have an N3 qualification with four (4) subjects with a relevant trade theory major;
You must be a South African citizen; and
Have a driver’s Code 08 Driver’s License or planning to get one before the conclusion of the apprenticeship.
