The Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF), a public housing finance entity, is inviting applications for its 2020 Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Internship Programme. The internship is open to graduates with completed a degrees in Information Technology, Computer Systems or similar field. Interns will receive SETA-related monthly stipends for the duration of the internship.

Overall Responsibility: To provide ICT support services to employees at GPF.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Assist and/or be exposed to the day to day technical maintenance on server, computers & phone equipment, and wireless.
  • Assist and/or be exposed to the maintenance of the operating system, application systems programs and procedures on computers.
  • Assist service personnel in the configuration of hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives.
  • Assist and/or be exposed to diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, or other network and system problems and replace defective components.
  • Assist and/or be exposed to in the installation, configuration and support of the network operating systems, and network servers including local area networks (LANs, network segments, and other data communication systems).
  • Maintain anti-virus software and other software updates, such as Microsoft Office, Java, etc., on servers and workstations including replacement of defective or inadequate software packages.
  • Assist with Help Desk Support.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned or required.

Minimum Requirements for the Internship Placement

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems or similar
  • Strong on IT hardware and software
  • Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve IT technical issues
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task
  • Eager to learn
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

The Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF) is inviting applications from unemployed South African graduates with a national diploma or bachelor’s degree to apply for their 2016 Internships in selected fields related to the business units with the GPF. Interns will be placed on internship contracts and will be paid a monthly stipend for the duration of the contracts. The internships will be based at the GPF offices in Sandton, Johannesburg, Gauteng.

What are the requirements?

In order to be considered, you have to meet the following qualification requirements:

The Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF) is inviting applications for its 2016 Internships from unemployed South Africans who are residents of Gauteng province and have a minimum of an N6, a National Diploma, or a Degree in any of the following fields: Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, Financial Accounting, Information Technology, Informatics, Project Management, or Networking. Interns will be placed at the GPF’s offices in Sandton on 12 months contracts and will be paid a monthly stipend of R4 224.00 for the duration  of the internship programme.

What are the requirements?

The Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF), a public housing finance entity, is inviting applications for its 2014/2015 Internship Programme. The intern is open to graduates with completed degrees or diplomas in any of the following fields of study: Public Finance Management/Financial Management/Bookkeeping, Project Administration /Management, or Information, Communications Technology. The internship will last for a period of six (6) to twelve (12) months.

What are the requirements?

In addition to the qualification requirements listed in the table below, the please make sure you meet the minimum requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen;
  • Be under the age of 25 years;
  • Have a matric certificate together with a degree or diploma in any of the fields listed in the table below;
  • Have excellent written and spoken communication proficiency in English;
  • Be computer literate (Microsoft Office suite) – knowledge of Microsoft Project will be an advantage in some of the internship fields;
  • Be prepared and willing to enter into a 6-12 months internship programme with the GPF.
