Postgraduate studies (Honours/Masters in Geo-informatics / Geographic Information Science) | It is a statutory requirement in terms of the PLATO Act (Act 40 of 1984) and the DPSA OSD that candidates must meet the requirements for registration with the Council for Professional and Technical Surveyors (PLATO) after completion of their studies. Consequently it is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the programme offered by the university is accredited by PLATO. |

What is covered in the CSIR 2014 Bursary?
The bursary is a comprehensive bursary which will pay for your registration fees, tuition fees, books, food, computer and other related expenses.

School leavers
• Only SA citizens between the ages of 17–21.
• Applicants should have a minimum symbol C in Mathematics.
• University acceptance letter.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 60% aggregate.University students
• Only SA citizens between the ages of 17–21, who are currently doing 1st and 2nd year undergraduate studies.
• Applicants should have a minimum of 60% pass rate on all courses.Requirements
