The South African tyre company producing some of the country’s most trusted tyre brands such as Goodyear and Dunlop, Goodyear South Africa, is inviting applications for its 2017 Internships from unemployed South African graduates and final year students in various fields. The bursaries are open to South Africans with or completing tertiary qualifications in any of the following fields: Communication / Media / Public Relations / Journalism, LLB, BCom Accounting, Engineering, Marketing / Entrepreneurship / Management, Economics / Statistics / Econometrics, and Logistics amongst others.

What are the requirements?

Commercial Sales: Our commercial sales team focus their efforts on sales to transport fleets, mines etc. Get involved in after sales service, by Analysis of tyre and service conditions assisting customers in reducing tyre costs and improving Goodyear Sales Qualifications: Degree in Marketing Management or Business Management, Entrepreneurial Management or BCom Management Company: Goodyear South Africa Locations: Gauteng Driver’s license required 3. Trainee Business Managers: Our retail operations seek highly motivated, independent individuals who are keen to learn more about running a small business and leading a team to success. Tyre and rubber products manufacturing company, Goodyear – the manufacturer of several popular tyre brands including Goodyear and Dunlop, is inviting applications for its 2015 Graduate-in-Training Programme to be based at various of its operations within South Africa. Internships/Graduate Training opportunities are available for graduates in various fields including the following: Business Management, Accounting, Statistics, Sales and/or Marketing, Logistics, Economics, Supply Chain, Environmental Sciences/ Studies / Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and various Engineering fields (i.e. Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical).

What are the requirements?

To be considered you have to be a South African previously disadvantaged individual (PDI) candidate qualified with a degree/diploma in the following (of be in your final year):

Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management;
Sales and/or Marketing Management;
A B Comm degree in: Statistics, Accounting, Econometrics, or Economics;
An Engineering qualification in any of these disciplines: Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical;
Business Management;
Environmental Studies/Management/Science; or
Occupational Health and Safety.
