The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (DID) is contributing towards skills development by providing graduates and students with opportunities to gain work experience in various skills areas. It is therefore inviting applications for an Internship Programme that will run for a period of twelve (12) months.
The Programme provides an opportunity for unemployed graduates to gain meaningful experience that will complement their studies and help them gain access to the labour market.
Duration and Remuneration
The Internship Programme is implemented over twelve (12) months and interns will receive a stipend of  R4500.00 per month.
Who is Eligible to Apply

Limited positions are available in training laboratories for Medical Technicians (Student) in the 2013 student intake.
Positions are available in specified disciplines, in the various regions stated above. Medical Technicians (Student):
The individuals will undergo training in the performance of laboratory tests and related procedures according to a set
curriculum.
Requirements:
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
Please note: Should the applicant be successful in completing his/her academic requirements for registration as a Medical  Technician with the HPCSA, the employee may be expected to work for the NHLS in the relevant profession as a Medical  Technician for 3 years.

The Thembisile Hani Local Municipality in Kwaggafontein, Mpumalanga is inviting applications from suitably qualified finance graduate to apply for a position on their three-year long internship programme in Financial Management. Successfull applicants will be be appointed as Financial Management Interns at the municipality for a period of three years receiving a salary of R100 000 per year. Three interns are required.

What are the requirements?

What will you be doing if appointed?

South Africa’s National Treasury invites exceptional graduates to apply for their 24-month-long graduate development programme starting in 2013.  This internship programme is aimed at only those South African graduates who have worked for their degrees or post graduate degrees, if your overall average mark is below 60% you are no match for this internship programme. According to the National Treasury “graduates must have completed their degrees and/or post graduate studies with an average of 60% or higher and must be South African citizens”.
